Barefoot on the Rock

Continuing the Kerala stories and outfits with this post.....

From the small & beautiful seaside town of Kovalam...we travelled to Kanyakumari (which is technically in the state of Tamil Nadu, and not in Kerala!), the last point of the Indian sub-continent. Kanyakumari is a town where people from all over the world come to see the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea & Indian Ocean. The three great water-bodies converge at the end of India making this place a must-visit destination.

Also, the biggest attraction of Kaynakumari is the Vivekananda Rock Memorial - a temple & memorial erected on a rock in the middle of the sea where Swami Vivekananda used to spend most of his time.

And it was at this place that I took this outfit snaps...hence no shoes! :P
(Shoes are not allowed in the memorial premises)

As you see, I was still going strong with the shorts... :)

And this bag was my travel favourite, as it was cute, small & carried all my important stuff (including my camera!)

T-shirt: Shoppers Stop
Denim shorts: Banana Republic
Charms Necklace: Linking Road, Mumbai
Floral heart ring: Accessorize
Sling bag: BK Market, Kolkata

Will be sharing some pictures from the trip next....most snaps are still in edit mode! :P

How was your Monday? Was it any indication of how your week's gonna be???
[Mine spelt only one thing....H-E-C-T-I-C!]

But I'm super-excited about the weekend! Coz Kolkata Fashion Week is coming up and I have been invited as a blogger to cover the shows!!! :D
So you'll be seeing updates from the fashion front soon!

Till then....stay stylish!
