Dressing up in Dresslily

by , in
When winter had set in this year, I was wishing for a stylish coat to keep myself warm in a chic way and for temperatures to drop enough in my city for me to flaunt such a coat! Yes, I had my share of jumpers, pullovers, cardigans, sweatshirts & sweaters....but since it was never cold enough in Kolkata, I didn't have the need or reason of buying a nice, warm coat for myself, even though I always craved for one when I saw stylish versions on my fellow bloggers residing in colder climes.

The cold came, chilled us, went away and came back again. In the meantime, I travelled to the much colder city of Delhi and finally, got myself a couple of coats which I wore on my trip [and which will be shown to you all some day]

On my return from Delhi (after a missed train and a pocket-emptying last-minute flight ticket & excess baggage bill), I was excited to find a parcel from Dresslilly.com waiting for me at home and now that the cold is making a triumphant entry back into my city, I couldn't help flaunting my Dresslily haul for an evening out! :)

Coat: c/o Dresslily | Black stockings: Tibetan market, Bangalore | Watch: c/o Dresslily | Leopard print wayfarers: Zara | Black studded heart ring: Accessorize | Pink bow headband: DIY | Boots: Marcus Rossi, Delhi

I'm still sorting out all the pictures from my fun Delhi trip....hopefully you'll be seeing them in the next post soon! ^_^

Meanwhile, if you guys are looking for chic clothes & accessories at good prices, do check out Dresslily.com - shipping may take around 30-35 days, but it'll be worth the wait! Apart from some great outerwear, I really dig their collection of dresses, tops, watches, jewelry & shoes!!! Plus, they have some great deals & offers going on at all times.......which means amazing stuff at even more amazing prices! :D

Till then, I wish the cold stays for a while so that I can prance around in my Dresslily coat feeling like Red Riding No-Hood!

HOWRAH BRIDGE Lookbook 2013

by , in
As you read this, I'm having fun with friends in the freezing temperatures of Delhi. :D

Yes, I'm on a trip to the capital city of India to visit the amazing hub of creativity - the India Art Fair! And also taking this opportunity to meet up with old (and new) friends and do some business as well! ;)

Those of you who are connected to me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram are getting an idea on what I'm up to! ^_^

Anyway, talking of business, I recently created a Lookbook of the most fun & quirky pieces from the Howrah Bridge collections last year. And while I'm showing this Lookbook to multi-designer stores in Delhi and discussing business opportunities with them, I thought I would share the same with you guys too! Do let me know what you think!

I had awesome fun doing this shoot with Soumi! I chose her as the model coz I knew she's crazy enough to go ahead with my equally crazy ideas of a "faceless" shoot! :P
And to tell the truth, our crazy efforts became quite a hit when we shared these pictures on Facebook! So, I think, we may have done something right only.........right

So long, then! I'll be back with more posts on my exploits in Delhi!!! :D

Stay stylish!
